Question 1

What is a removable dance floor wrap?

Accepted Answer

A removable dance floor wrap is a specially designed adhesive vinyl covering that transforms an existing dance floor into a stunning, personalised feature. At Yowie Signs, we use professional signage-grade ultra-removable vinyl, allowing you to create a beautiful dance floor for your event without permanently altering the original surface.

Question 2

Can I customise my dance floor wrap with my own design?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Our custom printed dance floor wraps can feature virtually any design, including wedding monograms, names, initials, marble patterns, floral designs, geometric patterns, checkered designs, logos and full-colour graphics. Whether you're planning a wedding, Sangeet, Mehndi, birthday or corporate event, we can help bring your vision to life.

Question 3

Will the dance floor wrap damage the existing floor?

Accepted Answer

Our dance floor wraps use professional ultra-removable adhesive vinyl designed for clean removal without leaving sticky residue. When correctly installed and removed from a suitable, properly maintained surface, they are designed to protect the original floor finish. We recommend checking with the venue and also the floor's condition and suitability before installation, particularly for delicate or recently refinished surfaces.

Question 4

What types of flooring can your dance floor wraps be applied to?

Accepted Answer

Our removable dance floor wraps are suitable for many smooth indoor surfaces, including timber dance floors, polished concrete and certain tiled floors. The surface must be clean, dry and suitable for adhesive application. If you're unsure whether your venue's flooring is compatible, contact us and we'll help assess the options.

Question 5

What if my wedding venue doesn't allow adhesive dance floor wraps?

Accepted Answer

No problem! If your venue doesn't permit adhesive vinyl directly on its flooring, we can discuss an alternative using acrylic dance floor panels. These create a separate surface that can be wrapped without applying adhesive directly to the venue's existing floor. Contact us to discuss your venue's requirements.

Question 6

What sizes are available for custom dance floor wraps?

Accepted Answer

We offer standard dance floor wrap sizes through our online store and can also produce custom sizes to suit your venue. Whether you need a smaller wedding dance floor or a large custom printed floor for a reception or celebration, simply provide your required width and length for a personalised quote.

Question 7

Can I supply my own artwork for printing?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You're welcome to supply your own artwork. For the best printing results, we recommend a high-resolution, print-ready PDF file at the correct proportions. Artwork can be submitted through our quote form or emailed to info@yowiesigns.com.au. If you need assistance preparing your design, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Question 8

Do you offer installation and removal services?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Yowie Signs offers professional installation and removal services, subject to location and availability. With over 20 years of experience in the signage industry, we understand the importance of achieving a clean, professional finish. Please provide your venue location, event date and dance floor dimensions when requesting a quote.

Question 9

Can I install the removable dance floor wrap myself?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer supply-only dance floor wraps for customers who prefer to arrange their own installation.

Question 10

How is the dance floor wrap removed?

Accepted Answer

Removing our dance floor wraps is quick and easy! Simply peel the vinyl away from the dance floor, just like removing a giant sticker. Our specially designed removable adhesive allows the wrap to peel away cleanly, without leaving sticky residue or requiring additional cleaning under normal conditions. No special tools or chemicals are needed — simply peel it off and dispose of the used vinyl.

Question 11

Are your dance floor wraps suitable for Indian weddings, Sangeet and Mehndi celebrations?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Our custom printed dance floor wraps are particularly popular for Indian weddings, Sangeet nights, Mehndi celebrations and other cultural events. We can create vibrant, colourful designs, traditional patterns, personalised monograms and decorative artwork to complement your celebration's theme.

Question 12

How long can a removable dance floor wrap stay installed?

Accepted Answer

Our removable dance floor wraps are primarily designed for temporary events such as weddings, receptions, parties and corporate functions. They are generally intended to be removed following the event rather than used as permanent flooring. The suitable installation period will depend on the floor surface and event conditions.

Question 13

Are your dance floor wraps suitable for dancing and high heels?

Accepted Answer

es! Our custom printed dance floor wraps are made from durable, professional-grade vinyl designed to withstand dancing, foot traffic and high heels without tearing or ripping during normal event use.Whether it's a wedding reception, birthday party, Sangeet or corporate event, our wraps are designed to provide a durable, professional finish throughout your celebration. For the best results, we recommend professional installation onto a clean, smooth and suitable dance floor surface.

Question 14

Will my custom printed dance floor wrap have visible joins?

Accepted Answer

At Yowie Signs, we use specially selected vinyl with a tinted adhesive backing to help minimise the appearance of joins between printed panels, creating a smooth, seamless-looking finish. However, when applying wraps over tiled dance floors, the existing tile joints or grout lines may still be slightly visible through the vinyl. This is due to the underlying floor surface rather than joins in the printed artwork. Our aim is always to achieve the cleanest, most professional finish possible.

Question 15

How far in advance should I order my custom dance floor wrap?

Accepted Answer

We recommend contacting us as early as possible, particularly during busy wedding and event seasons. This allows sufficient time for artwork preparation, printing, delivery and installation arrangements. If your event is approaching quickly, please contact us with your event date to discuss availability.
